Mrs Anjali Ahluwalia is a Consultant Gynaecologist and Obstetrician, having her NHS base at the University Hospital of South Manchester Foundation Trust, (Wythenshawe Hospital). She is the senior consultant, by appointment and experience, in the department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology. She has roles outside the organisation at the RCOG and the General Medical Council, GMC She has a busy and large practise today, having been a consultant for over 15 years. She has extensive experience in major gynaecological surgery including surgery for heavy periods, endometriosis, incontinence, fibroids and prolapse.
