    Dr Edmond Edi-Osagie is a Senior Consultant in Reproductive Medicine at Central Manchester University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (CMFT) and has particular expertise in Assisted Conception and Reproductive Surgery. CMFT is the largest NHS provider of AC in the UK and the foremost RM provider in North West England and is a BSGE accredited Tertiary Endometriosis Service provider.

    Dr Edi-Osagie has more than 15 years of expertise in the field of Reproductive Medicine (RM) and in particular Assisted Conception (AC) and so has requisite knowledge of the regulatory and legal frameworks governing AC in the UK. He has built up a broad professional network over the years and maintains excellent working relationships with numerous professionals in this and allied fields. Additionally, Dr Edi-Osagie is the leading Advanced Laparoscopic Surgeon in the North West of England.

    Dr Edi-Osagie has been Director and Person Responsible (PR) for the AC Unit at CMFT and so been accredited to Lead such services. Dr Edi-Osagie has held senior management positions including Clinical Director of the Gynaecology Directorate, Director of DRM and PR for AC at CMFT, in addition to being a Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RCOG) certified Reviewer. Dr Edi-Osagie is the Medical Director of Cheshire Fertility Centre in Macclesfield an independent CQC-licensed provider of Fertility, Assisted Conception and Specialist Gynaecology services. Dr Edi-Osagie underwent basic specialist training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in the North West of England, acquiring the MRCOG in 1995.

    He had further specialist and research training in Reproductive Medicine and Surgery, during which time he obtained an MD for research into the structure and function of the endometrium. He is an accredited RCOG preceptor in advanced laparoscopic and hysteroscopic surgery and established the Tertiary Endometriosis service at CMFT in 2006. Dr Edi-Osagie is married with three daughters and enjoys medical missions, philanthropy and photography
